A Must for Any Tartt Fan

I have only good things to say about this book, Donna Tartt does not disappoint! The only negative thing i could say about this book is that it's got genuinely giant dimensions...your arms will be tired by the end of it!

Good book for those with an interest in art

It is a long and exhaustive story , written with love and care. The author definitely loves her art and furniture and shows an insight into her interpretation of the goldfinch at the end of the novel. the book does start very interestingly, and then starts to meander a bit.In the end , all the pieces do fit together nicely, making it an interesting read . Could have been shorter but who is complaining?

The Goldfinch

Superb development of characters and the language is both delicate and intense. I would rate this book in the category of literary fiction. I salute Donna Tartt for her outstanding creativity. Perhaps, one of the best fictions of 2013.

My best-read of 2014

"ART-CRIME" novel which has a memorable character BORIS that connects with heart as well as with mind. Go for it readers.
Its a story that revolves around a painting of “Goldfinch" made in 1654 by Dutch artist Carel Fabritius

Worthy of the Pullitzer

This novel is extremely worthy of the Pullitzer. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the mixed reviews from readers. But the book was going so cheap on Flipkart that I decided to give it a shot. Tartts style of writing is just beautiful. Its a novel you can happily lose yourself in. Read it if you enjoy Charles Dickens.

Great product

Even if you find the beginning a bit slow, just read a few more chapters and you'll get hooked for sure. Tartt describes everything in such great detail that you can actually imagine the world around the characters and how they interact with it. Also the movie obviously can't be as good as the book which is true for most adaptations so even if you didn't like the film you should definitely give this book a shot!
