Bhatt has authored several books including Scholar Statesman Shankar Dayal Sharma: A Biography The Triangle: India- Nepal- China -A Study of Treaty Relations Satellite Invasion of India, District Gazetteer of Uttaranchal Besides, he edited the Encyclopedic District Gazetteers of India.
