Nice breezy read

The book begins with how Adi and Radha become friends when they were twelve years old due to a bullying incident which changes their lives forever. Right from the get go, both of them feel a unique connection with each other and even at that young age realize that this was just not friendship. As time goes by and as they get to know each others’ lives better, they clearly see that they populate entirely different universes. But fate and coincidences manage to conspire in a manner in which the...

The best climax ever and a wonderful saga

When Mr.Rohit shared the cover for the first time itself i found the blurb very interesting and it sync well with the cover page. The book is well written looking into each minute particles and the emotions are well expressed. The story has got many dimensions and colours and nowhere i found it incomplete. I liked the concept of Radha's diary and the secret relation that she shares with it. All the characters move along well with the story. The language is kept simple yet captivating. The boo...

A well written, fateful love story

The blurb of The Guardian Angels by Rohit Gore hints at a paranormal theme of soulmates who are destined to protect each other. Though the psychic nature of the connection between the two main protagonists is never openly described, it comes through as part of the story, through each of the four parts of the book.

The Guardian Angels is the story of Aditya Mehta and Radha Deodhar, and narrates the events that bind their lives together from their teenage years to their thirties. In what seems...

Book Review: The Guardian Angels

I usually don't read books by Indian authors, except of course when it is my friends who have authored them, however, this one was different. For one I didn't know the author, secondly the cover design of the book intrigued me so much and last but not the least the blurb made me curious about the story and hence I applied for its review.

And boy was I happy with my decision? You bet I was! From the moment I laid my hands on this book I was hooked. The storyline is gripping, language is simp...

A Breath Of Fresh Air

The start is absolutely wonderful. The prologue completely draws you in and the pace is nice. No need to rush, the book automatically takes you through itself. The ending is very subtle with a pleasant note.

brilliant and addictive, rightly so. . .

I am usually cynical about Indian authors, but this book provided me a reason to reverse the thought.
Its a book you'll read through and through, with the obsession of a bibliophile even if you aren't one.
The characters endear you to them, and even though it traces their school journet too....it hardly and rarely seems kiddish!
You got to hold your breath for a surprisingly unexpected ending.
A must read...

Rohit's MAGIC when it comes to words.

Rohit has the innate ability to write words, which will stick on to your heart and engulf you in it.

Guardian Angel is beautifully written, which keeps you intrigued till the last page of it. With ever passing page, you want more of it. And the climax, it's beautiful. You leaves you with tears in your eyes, although a satisfaction in your heart. :)
