    MUST READ!

Sunil Khilnani talks about Indian politics of the 20th century and captures, very well, the essence it had on the society and vice versa. Also, his description of the evolution of comprehension of politics by Indians and it's influence on the definition of India as a nation and the Indianness it has evoked, so far, in the masses makes this book a MUST READ!

    Average Reading

Sometimes good, otherwise boring. Few pages about India really make sense. Otherwise, there is lot of rhetoric in the book.
