The language of Ramesh Singh's book is quite hard to understand and that book is bulky too... This one is quite small in size and covers almost all the static topics (as in UPSC Mains syllabus). But there are certain terms which need to be googled to understand.. Overall a very good one for guys like me who haven't read economy before..

The book is precise and easy to understand

It's a nice book and touches every aspects of economics with good approach. Recommended for UPSC and state PSC main exam.

Revised edition of 2020. Total 412 pages. 4 parts a,b,c and d.

Provides better understanding for beginners and no boring content

Delivery was smooth. But the packing was horrible, the book was packed with just a thin polythene cover,no bubble wrap or box was there !!! The book is good no doubt. It is focused on the concepts rather than facts. Written in simple English but also the language of the book becomes horrible at times (probably printing/editing part was not as good as writing part). Overall a good book for civil service aspirants. Far better than more big fat books available in market. After reading this book ...
