    Great product

Before Praising this Book let me Praise Flipkart for their Insanely fast delivery. I ordered the Book on Friday and got next day Afternoon. The Delivery Guy is also very humble and Friendly. In terms of packaging, Flipkart is always a winner.

Now, let me express my feelings about the book. In terms of patience I'm always a loser but, being a good Investor requires a lot of Patience and this book will teach you to be an All-rounder. The word "Intelligent" here doesn't mean "Knowledge" or "I...

Words of wisom on basic investment philosophy

I am a newbie to the world of investing and read about this book on a variety of sites and magazines. Anyone who has looked up Warren Buffett and his investing philosophies would have heard about his legendary teacher - Benjamin Graham. Mr Graham wrote one of the first classics on fundamental analysis - Security Analysis (1934). The revised version of this work is still followed in some business schools today and is frequently recommended by the best value investors worldwide. The Intelligent...

The Intelligent Investor-- a useful guide for active investors.

The book is very helpful for new investors. It guides you how to navigate through volatile share market without losing your money. I greatly impressed by Graham's technique of "value investing" and "margin of safety" as he applied in almost all situations. There is lot to learn from this book about long term investment. He clearly differentiate between an investor and a speculator through the process of investment to be adopted by an individual. The commentary given at the end of each chapter...

    A worthwhile read

Graham's writing is clear, concise and level-headed. He warns against unreasonable financial expectations and proceeds to explain his theories in sufficient detail to be worthwhile, without being over the comprehension of the layman interested in investing.
The book is lengthy and "solid", as opposed to other finance books that hope to explain investment in 100-200 pages. Topics include stocks vs. bonds, inflation, security analysis, and margin of safety (Graham's analysis of the assets of a ...

    Excellent

The one place to find everything for someone new to investing. Written in simple layman language which fecilitates easy understanding of the complex matters related to investing and the share market. The book clearly draws a line between speculaters and investors and at the same time, erases all the myths floating in the name of the share trading. A must buy for someone who sees themself as a fortunate investor with a diversified portfolio 10 years down the line. Cheers.

    Super!

The commentaries are worth the addition though they haven't been updated after 2003, I guess. Ample examples of various industrials are given which the typical investor might face. I must say that the US stock market has gone through a lot of vicissitudes. Worth a read.
