Ruskin Bond is an Indian writer of British descent. He is best remembered for The Room on the Roof, Our Trees Still Grow in Dehra, A Flight of Pigeons, The Adventures of Rusty and Angry River.

Bond was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award and the Padma Bhushan.
