Richard Wiseman is a professor and psychologist.
He has written books like Paranormality: Why We Believe The Impossible, Rip It Up: The Radically New Approach To Changing Your Life, Quirkology, Magic In Theory: An Introduction To The Theoretical And Psychological Elements Of Conjuring, and 59 Seconds: Think A Little, Change A Lot.
Richard Wiseman works at the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom as the Professor of the Public Understanding of Psychology. He was a magician before he graduated from University College London and completed his Ph.D from University of Edinburgh, both in Psychology.
He has won many awards, these include the NESTA Dream Time Fellowship in 2004, the British Science Association Joseph Lister Award in 2002, and the CSICOP Public Education in Science Award in 2000. Robert Wiseman contributes regularly to The Times, The Guardian, and The Daily Telegraph.
