Good debut novel

Just completed reading the novel. Definitely should appreciate the work by Doyle, really a great debut novel. But if you forget its a debut novel and write a review, then i think i can give it a 3 star. Reason, is i felt the pace getting slow down many a times because of lot of breakages while starting a conversation and after ending a conversation; even sometimes, conversation seemed sloppy; while solving the clues, the people seemed solving easily rather than with hard thinking, atleast the...

The Mahabharata Secret

Wonderful book. It is amazing that how a debutante novelist has created such a thriller. The language is fluid and rich and pace is terrific. It is a real page turner, and the interest of the reader remains intact throughout.

Boy! What a Secret....excellent thriller

The story surprised me with something intriguing each time and it goes on till the end page. A very good book and I recommend you all to read it once because sometimes all you need is to have an eye of a person through which you can see a different world, a different Mahabharata. Watch out for the second part of this series.

An Average Read but quite interesting

First of all about the book's Quality and Flipkart's service.
Flipkart's service was as usual very good and the books quality was also excellent.Delivered in time and at a cheaper rate.

The story of the book is not that much nice but some points are quite good. Also agree that is gripping you till the end to see what will happen. But at the end it is quite disappointing.I like "The Tenth Unknown" more than this one. Both are based on same plot.

Final verdict-- Buy this if and only if
1)If...

Fast pace Treasure hunt with some speed breakers..

First of all, Thanks to Flipkart for timely delivery. Previously, i found flipkart as the one which takes undue longest delivery time but hey have improved it a lot.

Now, coming to the book. I had completed Ashwin Sanghi's The Krishna Key and was searching for the same genre by Indian writer when The Mahabharata Secret caught my eye at Crosswords, Select city walk, Delhi. I was not very much satisfied with the ending of The Krishna Key so wasn't expecting much from The Mahabharata Secret.

I...

slow at times

I admire the Robert Langdon genre by Dan Brown and started looking for similar stuffs by india authors. First I read The Krishna Key, and it was good. Then I stumbled upon this one. Though I am not saying that it doesn't thrill me, but at times, the narrative is too slow. Also, the author needs more practice and experience while plotting things together and describing the events to have some lasting effects in the mind of the reader. even the twists are not represented well enough in my view.

Interesting Biik

The book is no doubt good an author very cleverly captivated us in suspense/plot created.
Parallel 3 stories goes on, so it makes mind open n broaden up. Some times the story goes a bit boring but the moment you find boring, a suspense is tossed by the author, which again gets our attention back to the book.
In all a wonderful book.
I will recommend this book.

Definite page turner

This book is based on a myth about a missing manual from Mahabharata. Most of the book is running around the Secret Nine and the clues left to find out the secret found by the Asoka the Great. Story has some loopholes. Author had done enough research on historical points but missed few of the points about the celestial weapons he was taking in the novel specially Sudarshan Chakra etc..
I compared this novel with Dan Brown’s Davinci Code, Ashwin Sanghi’s The Krishna Key.
Davinci Code stood 1...
