He reaches the Naga capital, Panchavati, and Evil is finally revealed. The Neelkanth prepares for a holy war against his true enemy, a man whose name instils dread in the fiercest of warriors. India convulses under the onslaught of a series of brutal battles. It's a war for the very soul of the nation. Many will die. But Shiva must not fail, no matter what the cost. In his desperation, he reaches out to the ones who have never offered any help to him: the Vayuputras. Will he succeed? And what will be the real cost of battling Evil? To India? And to Shiva's soul? Discover the answer to these mysteries in this concluding part of the bestselling Shiva Trilogy. About the Author Amish is a 1974-born, IIM (Kolkata)-educated, boring banker turned happy author. The success of his debut book, The Immortals of Meluha (Book 1 of the Shiva Trilogy), encouraged him to give up a fourteen-year- old career in financial services to focus on writing. He is passionate about history, mythology and philosophy, finding beauty and meaning in all world religions. Amish lives in Mumbai with his wife Preeti and son Neel."

excellent!!!!

Its a shiva trilogy written in a modern way. The description of each character of the story is somewhat different. The style of story writing is addictive. It generates a curiosity to know whats next....!!! Love this book.

Verh bold and artistically told story of Lord Shiva. The Author's imagination is admirable and surreal

Shiva's history and that of the period depicted in the novel is surely arguable. But the Author's imagination in creating a jig saw puzzle and solving it so very simplistically is admirable. Jai Shri Ram. Har Har Mahadev.

hasted Ending but engulfing book

The Oath of the Vayuputras was the fastest among the Shiva trilogy that i finished. Book is filled with battle sequences and there is lot of action in it. However, it is little stretched in places with unwanted description in the middle of the war thus, affecting the adrenaline rush. Climax is abrupt and dissatisfying. Sati, Kartik and Parvateshwar are the best characters in the book. This book should have been the best of the three but it fails there. Apart from these, there are no major iss...
