Disappointing and convoluted
I did not buy the item personally but I was gifted this exact edition bought from Flipkart itself.
Anyway, having not read any of Amis's previous works, perhaps I lack the literary pedigree to appreciate the overtones of his writing. That being said, as this was a Man Booker winning book, I went in with some solid expectations (Particularly given this was recommended as a suggested reading to the comedic masterpiece 'A Confederacy of Dunces') - I came out thoroughly disappointed.
