A beginner's guide to philosophy. If you want something more in-depth, this is not necessary. However, it's a great book. Nice collaboration and well summarised, apart from some mandatory points missing. I would suggest it to every household for the younger audience of 16-24. If you're finished with the book though, don't stop there. Let the book be a mere foundation and proceed to explore the world. Goodluck!

If philosophy interest you then this is the book you should start with . Well explained and presented.

This book can be summed up in just one word 'awesome'. The excellent way this book has been structured, the use of simple language to explain complex concepts in the realm of philosophy and the A1 printing and graphics of this book make is a must have for any individual who wants to explore the deep and diverse subject of Philosophy.
The only drawback I can find is that this book doesn't touch the subject area concerning with Indian Philosophical thought, except for a chapter on Gautam Buddh...

This book tries to cover every philosophers in a chronological pattern. Does not go in much details in each philosopher sometimes missing to discuss their important works.
