Outstanding Book - Quite different than what was shown in the movie.
This is one of the most inspiring books of all time. The movie might just be an inspiration to buy the book. The language is simple and concise. Real life experiences from Chris Gardner about his childhood, his adolescence and his Dean Witter Days.
The movie doesn't tell you some important incidents in the protagonists life. Some of the events have not been highlighted in the movie.

This is a must read book especially on occasions you feel bogged
down by someone or something & you have the feeling, things are not gonna be good..Man! I can't really believe such a person can ever exist.Chris Gardener is an epitome of confidence & with a childhood like the one he had,it's really amazing.
Truly inspiring and gives you the feel "Nothing is impossible"
all that you need is sheer will power to be sucessful!!!

Inspirational book
This is an excellent refresher. Read this book and you will understand the reason for your existence. What a confidence this man has. How your childhood incidents make you take the strong and toughest decisions of up-coming events in your life. Its a real inspiration to most of the young people who are scared of taking risks and commitments.

Incredible!
The book is completely different from what we come to see in the movie. The book contains the real life instances of Chris Gardner; his struggle and the way he goes ahead in life without breaking down; the failure and the tests of nature where many people call quit. This book is not only a motivational book but also a must read for every one!
