And this lady does not know sanskrit . She admitted that and said that she depended on the translation of other writers.West is allowing these books in the library to create a poor understanding in the coming generations
Author has tried to translate without any understanding on contexts, random relating words with any meaning she pleases. Avoid reading this book , if you really are interested in the Rigveda.
I will begin this review with a rebuke to the author: she has done an injustice to herself and her readers by presenting an anthology of just a hundred of so hymns of this important and rich ancient text. Other than this one shortcoming, the book comes across as a beautiful and insightful work on the Rig Veda.
