Intriguing and darker than the previous book.

'Secret of the Nagas' written by Amish is a top notch work of modern fictional literature. The author's previous book 'The Immortals Of Meluha' broke several records and made a benchmark in modern Indian fictional writing. Though this is piece of fiction, I gives me more interest to think that such people actually existed in India. What if Shiva, Sati and other characters truly existed in our great country? This book is particularly is interesting as it deals with the fact that to know evil t...

Awesome Mix of Mythology and Fiction

I was very impressed with Immortals of Meluha and was expecting a lot from The Secret of The Nagas. I must say this book manages to raise the bar even further and makes the reader live the journey of Shiva.

I hope we all understand this is not history, but just a work of fiction, garnished with Myhtology. So my request to fellow readers and reviewers, please don't consider this book as the life story of a God, rather enjoy the journey and appreciate the tribute to the NEELKANTH.

Some for those who are reading naga much (much!) after meluha.

You guys must have read the part one . Well even if you are reading this book after a gap, and in between you have read a lot of whole other categories, it still holds you to the classic mythic grip that the first book had on you. I mean , i bought it almost a month after watching a whole bunch romantic a and modern family stuff. I was pretty confused whether will I still be able to recollect what had happened over the previous book. But it sure makes you stick you to the edge of the seat. ...

More philosophical and bit boring...

This second book of Shiva Trilogy is not as entertaining as first book. Book focus more on philosophical concepts.. Sometimes those philosophical concepts does not satisfy your mind.. he has to work more on it... It takes lot of unnecessary turns.. After First excellent book Amish has lost track in this book... It more looks like Bollywood movie.. Specially Ganesha's Character will make u aghasted.. Lot of interweaving stories makes this book somewhat boring.. Though like a bollywood film end...

Awesome!

One of the best books I have ever read - Great story and wonderful narration . Its kinda slow at the beginning but once you cross few chapters you ll get hold on to it. Its a must to read the other two parts which requires the thumbs up! And delivery from Flipkart is always prompt and clean so no need to worry about that.

Amazing Depiction of Glorious Journey

Flipkart is awesome as ever. And coming to the story plot, Amish did a very well job presenting the tremendous journey of Shiva through out India(Not all India). This Trilogy's first part made me serious Novel reader and Fiction Lover. I really admire the way he took to give a new meaning to the Epic Hindu Mythology. Though, the epics were presented to us, were Fiction as well. The new trend set to that was astounding. Very Pleasant read.
I congratulate Amish for his success.
I'm now reading...
