The word FANTASY being experimented and succeeded in it's own honest way !!!

The name " Secrets of the Dark" can give an idea of some mythology , fantasy , thriller or a suspense in one's mind and yes I would place the book in fantasy genre.

The story is of 334 pages and last 3 pages will provide you some information about Gaya which are accurate.

After ordering the book , I was in vacation to Coonoor from Bangalore and decided to carry this book along with me and luckily was not disappointed. The story starts of little slowly and that's what I will call a negative...

    Wonderful Read...

It was truly an interesting read, competing with the likes of Ashwin Sanghi and Amish Tripathi in the genre of historical fiction, Arka Chakroborti has really done a commendable job! The book keeps you hooked cover to cover and is a delight to read.

Pick this book up to encourage a debut author, also because good writers need all the encouragement they can get!

    Lucid and Laconic Plot

The comportment of writing is doubtlessly an icing on the cover in black and waxen in a eloquent, free flowing method, the plot lucid and laconic that is why this volume ascend superior in the sequential imaginative writing group which has such enormous candidates that, in reality provide a dispense to convey the reader into the sphere in a number of traditions that put in concert the legends that fans athwart the globe go on with to take satisfaction in.

    Intriguing

I am not into fantasy and historical novels at all and was a bit unsure - would I be able to finish this at all! But, was pleasantly surprised!

Arka has done a commendable job in his debut novel and has sure set the standards high for his next one. His imagination is vivid, and despite being so young, he has kept a fine grip over the plot, never letting it go off track.

    Brilliant Book

After a long time i came across a great book in the Indian Fantasy Genre.. As someone who's a big fan of Western Fantasy authors, i did not have huge expectations out of this book. However after reading this book it changed my whole mind.

A brilliant mix of western and eastern fantasy elements along with a taut and fast paced story, hooked me in. I finished the book in 3 sittings in just 2 Days..!!!

Waiting for the sequel to this one..

    Engaging!

The book was recommended by a friend and after much prodding( i'm not a fan of the fantasy mythology thriller genre!) picked up the book. A few pages in and i could not put it down. The story draws you in and keeps you rooted through all the twists and turns. Well done Arka. Awaiting the next one..

Quite a different stuff! Loved it.!!!

Was a bit skeptical while I started it, but ended it up with a very different feeling. I think the mysteries and fiction have been presented in a very exciting way. And seeing someone of my age group, write such a great stuff, it feels like awesome.! :) Cheers to the young and upcoming writer.!

    A great work

An awesome piece of work by the author which gives a good break from romantic pieces and off-course western based fantasies.Produced in the most lucid language possible yet people off all ages can find it to their taste cause there are no unnecessary difficult themes or subject matter or very hard morals and no teeth-clenching showy language.
