The Shadow of the Wind is an absorbing novel, no doubt. One reads breathlessly to find out what’s there in the last pages as the suspense breathes down ones neck to almost uneasiness. This one is a good book to read. Sometimes the contents are stretched a bit. But the storyline is great. A perfect mixture of romance-horror-thriller.
Its prequel (The angels game) is also a good one.
