Amazing Debut

The Shock of the Fall is easily one of the best contemporary Novels(2000-2014) I've read. Nathan Filer draws from his experience and his insight , creating an intriguing and genuine Story and characters.
I'd recommend this book for anyone who is into Mental-Health fiction , Guilt, Death and Psychoanalysis, If you enjoyed reading The Bell jar , you will love this.

Mixed feelings

Mathew's misery takes a sharp turn when his mental disorders are coupled with massive guilt of his brothers death!
Highs:
Unsual concept, subtly written and heartbreaking !

Lows:
Not as gripping, infact dull at times.
