i was always fascinated by tintin right from my early years. now grabbed the chance as this is a smashing offer from flipkart.wonderful, compact collectors item.initially hesitated regarding the size as i was used to the bigger edition but this is really perfect and no strain on the eyes.excellent service from one of the most trusted online store in india.

First of all thanks to flipkart for such an amazing offer, I got it for Rs 3999 where as the MRP is 7999.....It was a 50% off...Luckily the offer was only for a day and i got it. Later on flipkart reduced the discount to 40 %.
It is really a good deal of having 3 books in 1 [volume] 23 books all together[8 volumes]....But It has one book missing i.e "The lake of Sharks", Better buy it if you are a tintin fan..
The paper quality and the hardcover is excellent, but the text is bit small[little ...

Tintin books are always a treasure. I read my first book way back in the 90's, which was the "The Land of Black Gold". I was so impressed and i couldnt wait to get my hands on the rest of the books. I read few other titles after getting myself enrolled in a local library (I couldnt afford to buy them all that time:(..) Finally after many many years i saw this peice of beauty in Flipkart and i ordered it after a bit of apprehension which was mainly due to the smaller size compared to the origi...

Simply superb. All of Tintin! So you can go reading it back to back! Initially i was put off by the size of the book compared to the original - then it grew on me. It is a handy size. Easy to hold and read - whether lying on your back or sitting on a pot. The printing reproduction is very good. And lastly, it is a great value deal. You can't get it for this price at any bookstore (at least in Bangalore).

What an awesome collectors item. And got at a steal of a price too. I waited for a long time to pick this. And when I did, I was overwhelmed. Great packing, superb design and very reader-friendly. A great size too. If you get it at the price I did, don't even think, just buy it.

The books are printed on fine quality paper. The size of the books are smaller than the individual comics that one would have read/come across in the past. But the books are bound sequentially into 8 hardbound volumes and are easy on the eye.

Quite happy with the product and would recommend this to all fans of Tintin comics.

Childhood dream now realized and got it for my son...Very good quality and art work...the only drawback is this not the regular size Tintin comic but almost the size of paper back novel, therefore reading fine text is not easy on the eye...but positive it's easy to carry..

I have been a huge fan of Tintin since I can remember and getting this was like filling up a gap I had in my heart.

The product was in excellent condition when delivered and is worth every penny if you're a huge Tintin fan. One small drawback is, Flipkart took it's own sweet time to deliver the product..

Overall 5 stars for the product and -1 for the delivery time taken.

If you are picking uo for collecting and relieving your old days...must buy but not for first time children reading. Fonts are small so its not easy to keep them interested.
We reread it plus it is packed well so easy to store on the bookshelf and carry it with you while travelling.....

Great for collectors because of the compact size and included box. Some people might find the text size of the print a little small, but the overall form-factor of the series is great for reading long hours at a stretch :-)
