Difficult to Snap it Shut!!
In this book we get an insight to the romantic side of Jack Reacher. he has Jodie, a successful and industrious lawyer, as hs girlfriend. But they both want different things from life. Reacher is a drifter. He feels bound and anchored because of a car and a house. He does not want to be tied down to one place. He prefers drifting from one place to another as opposed to his lover's choice. the mystery is well kept. there are many alarming turns that the story takes. Immensely entertaining.

A unimaginable plot involving Serial Killer
The Visitor probes a race between a Serial Killer and Jack Reacher... Someone starts killing ladies who were eventually connected to Reacher. FBI lead Investigator picks Reacher to be prime suspect and parallely Reacher is also charged with Battery and Assault of Extortion racket henchmen.
Reacher has to chose, either to help FBI solving the serial killer case or face extortion king pin's vengance.
The Visitor is well crafted and as usual this Lee Child thriller keep you attached till the end...

Good - but may be a bit predictable
At least the method of killing becomes obvious before it is revealed, making it easy to guess the culprit. Yet, quite an intriguing plot and the Reacher charisma is maintained. A good read.

An okay read
Good narration but a predictable story. All the time Reacher keeps on saying "I don't know" which is highly irritating. The Petrosian scenes are awesome! Interrogation done by Reacher of the army delinquent is slick and gives a glimpse of the real character of Reacher before he retired. Apart from that nothing much in there. Once again all the characters are crisply written.

WORTH READING FOR NEW READER
This is certainly a chilling thriller and it contains all that should be in a mystery book. A new reader will certainly find it worth buying. However, a reader like me who has read almost all books of Agatha Christie and erle Stanley Gardner, the mystery is breakable. I could easily guess who has murdered and why?
