    Great work by IITian

Its just a great work by an IITian. This book tells so much about the whole system, in which the talents of IIT get stuck when they graduate and come to real world, which is totally different from their campus. Yes, the valuable four years of their life, and still they don't know how this world will test their skills. A must read.

An impressive thriller from an Indian author! Unputdownable!

"The Winner's Price" is not mere storytelling. Coming from a debut author, this is a rich bouquet of experience from his IIT days, lyrically arranged in simple and lucid English, to reflect the pulls and pressures when aspiration and ambition pose tough and tricky challenges in life. The IIT bit apart, it just could be yours or my life too!

The brilliance comes from the way the author deftly weaves fiction into strands of facts and creates a thriller ambience, which virtually nudges oneself ...

A well balanced combination of facts and fiction

The story has touched upon the subjects which have affected the progress of the country and at the same time offered some fresh technological creative solutions as the author (and me too) believes our country offers the best of brains in this world. The story telling has interwoven the facts and fiction beautifully retaining its clarity and crispness. The book also reflects the price we pay fulfill our aspirations which i feel so true in the modern age. Looking forward to yet another refreshi...

page-turning, heart-stopping saga, with a delightful and surprise ending

This thriller delivers another page-turning, heart-stopping saga, with a delightful and surprise ending! Was truly awestruck with the way the author leaves such minute yet important twists which unfold towards the end.
I've read so much fiction in my life that only pretty good writing will hold my interest. This is high quality writing with quite good characterization.

A refreshing experience with story telling

At my age, books and their characters can give the company you crave.
The Winner's Price took me back to my younger days, brought me back to the world of now, and shared beautiful stories of some amazing people, all uniting for a purpose that serves all of us.

And unexpected combinations: an engineer who gets a Nobel Prize for Medicine; An Armani who wants to copy Indian designs, and drinks each night to Kolaveri Dee!
A tycoon who practices Amitabh Bachchan's dialogues in real life...

A must read for all change makers

Wow, a truly forward looking, solution providing thriller. Leaves you thinking about the way you think, live or make a living. Itâ??s a true page-turner. Loved the way the author has described on what it takes to be a winner and what all sacrifices a winner has to make. Surely grabbed my attention and hope it does the same for other fiction lovers as well. A must read for all change makers. I surely hope somebody in the government departments also reads this one, and start thinking on possibl...

The book is a modern day thriller, perhaps on the level of some of the well-written books by illustrious authors

Bought the book last Friday and I must say, its refreshing to see Indians writing fiction which I feel is a different kind of young readers book. The book is a modern day thriller, perhaps on the level of some of the well-written books by illustrious authors, Frederick Forsyth and Jeffrey Archer. The authors canny eye for detail and in â??depth knowledge took me back to the â??The Day of the Jackalâ?? era. The author opens full-throttle, beginning with a common yet hardly spoken exam preparat...

    Racy, well crafted

Divvaakar tells a compelling story. Extremely engaging, it holds your interest. IIT is a mere backdrop, it's a book of our times, of contemporary India with all its warts.
SV keeps the narrative fast paced and handles the multiple stories within stories rather deftly. The characters created are ones that you can relate to. Their motivations, their methods ring more than a bell.
A must read for anyone who has had a bit of experience of the world as it exists in India.
