    About the Authors

    Amitabha Ghosh is an Indian academic author and educationist. Born in the Birbhum district of West Bengal, he completed his B.E., M.E., and PhD, all in Mechanical Engineering from Calcutta University. He was director at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur for 5 years and a professor in IIT, Kanpur till his retirement. Some of his other works include Origin Of Inertia: Extended Mach’s Principle and Cosmological Consequences, Manufacturing Science, and Algorithmic Aspects of Throughput-Delay Performance for Fast Data Collection in Wireless Sensor Networks, among others.

    Asok Kumar Mallik is an Indian academic author and educationist. He is a professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
