Dr. Sadhvi Veerprabha
Introduction: Initiated as Samani Vinay pragya in 2002 by H.H. Acharya Mahapragya in Ahmedabad. Promoted as Sadhvi Veerprabha by H.H. Acharya Mahashraman in 2019, Bangalore.
Qualification: B.Sc (Mathematics, Electronics, Comp. Sc.) from Banasthali Vidyapith. ?.?. in Jainology and comparative Religion and philosophy M.phil. in Indian & Western Philosophy Cleared NET and Ph.D. in 2016 in 'Theory of Numbers in Jaina Agama' from Jain Vishva Bharati Institute, Ladnun.
Academic Services: At JVBI for almost 11years as an Associate professor in the Department of Jainology & Comparative Religion and Philosophy, at Acharya Kalu Kanya Mahavidyalaya, and Department of Directorate of Distance Education teaching Sanskrit, Jainology, and Preksha Life skill (personality development course). Co-editor of Tulsi Prajñ?, a quarterly research Journal of JVBI, for almost five years.
Achievements: Authored a book 'I choose, I live' and translated many books: The Path of Freedom from Sorrow, Transform Yourself, Awaken Your Mind, Mantra Therapy, Who is a Jain Shravak, Sambodhi, Words Became Boon, Reside Inside Live Outside and Jain Tattva Vidya.
She is acquainted with Prakrit, Sanskrit, Hindi, English and Rajasthani languages.
Participated in many National and International seminars, conferences and conventions like Parliament of World Religion (Australia), Jaina Convention, in California, NY, YJA in Chicago, visited as a Guest Lecturer in Yale University, University of Houston, Rice University and many more. Conducted many camps and workshops on Non-violence Jainism, and Preksha Meditation. Published many research articles and written Dissertation.
Travelled to USA, UK, Australia, Dubai, Hongkong, Bangkok, Indonesia and many states of India.
