  • Description
"There Are Rivers in the Sky" by Elif Shafak is a sweeping, multi-layered novel that spans centuries and geographies, connecting the lives of three disparate characters. Set between ancient Mesopotamia and modern London, the story revolves around the enduring symbolism of water, especially the Tigris and Thames rivers. The novel interweaves the experiences of a Yazidi girl, an impoverished boy in 19th-century London, and a modern hydrologist, all tied together by the Epic of Gilgamesh and the powerful theme of memory and survival

    Terrible product

Pages 389 to 404 are missing. Not one, not two but 12 pages are missing. What a shame! And it is the biggest scam on the part of the distributor to pass off printing hoaxes as books!
