    Amazingly insightful

Another hit by yashodhra....there's something about you is very interesting read with the author's classic humour. The author has sensitively handled the issues handled by overweight people and issues such as suicide....very insightful!!!! Kudos Yashodhra...

    Love And Determination Win

I lliked this book for its positivity. The author has a gentle encouraging loving style and it has a great impact.

Determination leads a middle aged woman , sacked from work for being dowdy, to heights that she never even imagined.

Love helps make the life of a young girl better. She surmounts obstacles and comes to terms with a personal tragedy because her mother learns to love her.

The tale of the two personalities is woven together with great dexterity by the author and it is a pleasure...

    There's Something About the Book...

Have you ever picked up a novel that looks like it belongs to the chick-lit genre, only to be delightfully surprised? When I got the book, I took one hard look at the cover and felt like it’s going to be a longggg read! Well, I’m glad to admit that I was “delightfully surprised”!
Trish Saxena is a young, slightly overweight content professional with mediocre looks and the only thing going for her is her job… which she promptly loses within the first few pages of the book. Sahil the Mithaiwala...

Refreshing Read - very rare from Indian Authors (Must Read)

Its a highly entertaining off beat love story of a working lady Trish
The book is an amazing read- funny and witty along with the right doze of romance and drama which kept me awake for 2 nights( it keeps you hooked on as the twists and turns in story are very natural and not easy to predict till the last page.. )
    Highly recommended !!

An Unputdownable, breezy read that's loaded with creative use of sarcasm.

The book revolves around the life, struggles and the battle of the protagonist, Trish (Trishna) with life, obesity, people at her workplace, Alzheimer’s disease and even death. The beauty of the plot lies in the true to life portrayal of Trish who is an ordinary girl with many imperfections, facing them all extraordinarily with her grit and sarcasm in a commendable way.

There is not a single dull moment in the book despite the fact the initial one-third of the plot pictures the mundane life ...

There IS something about this book that makes you happy!

There definitely is something about this book that kept me riveted. But, thankfully, I can point out those things. As expected, its a romantic story with a huge dollop of wit. Trish, the main character, is overweight with a heart of gold and... umm... sarcasm!! After loosing her job, she is accidentally and secretly contracted as a bitch-slapping agony aunt for a column in the same paper.

Life is hell as usual for her till Sahil, a jobless (however, he does have big-money family business), ...

    Brilliantly sketched

Yashodhara has brilliantly sketched out Trish.
What's best about her main protagonist is the strong resonance that any 30/40 year old will feel. She is not perfect and the best part of the book lies in her imperfection

Definitely, a refreshing and recommendable read.

    Good and light read.

There's something about you keeps you hooked on and you do want to know how the book ends. Its easy to empathise with the characters in the book. The sad moment in the story got out a tear while I wore a grin while reading most of the book. I must say that this is the best book by Yash so far.

    Excellent Story

I must say Yashodhara has brought a new dimension in this story. This an awesome fiction. There is no CRIME but the suspense that has been revealed in the end was surreal.
The story revolves around Trish and how she faces the world with her intuition and how events gets tied up one after the other after she saves a unknown man was simply superb. Must Read!!

    Good light read

Before I begin, I should confess something. I don't generally read such books. And by "such books", I mean the ones packaged (yes, that IS the best word) in bright colours, with long titles that give away the plot line of the book. I've tried a few of these books and been turned off by the shoddy sentence construction, the deluge of typos, and the way they talk down to the reader.

Which is why, when I started to read the preview chapters of Yashodhara Lal's book, I didn't expect it to be muc...
