    Description

A Thing Beyond Forever -  The Reward For Every True Love Is Not Love is a unique love story by Novoneet Chakraborty.

    Summary Of The Book

A Thing Beyond Forever -  The Reward For Every True Love Is Not Love presents Radhika Sharma, a doctor who has an aura of being arrogant and unemotional. Yet, she is a sensitive woman, who still deeply feels the pain of the loss of her one true love.

She fell in in love with Raen while they were both at high school. Raen, however, is attracted to another girl, Savera. But eventually, Radhika’s bold expression of her feelings for him turns him towards her. Yet, he still seems to remain attracted to Savera.

It is now 15 years since that time. Radhika is now a successful doctor and seems dispassionate and free of any softer sentiments in her life. Yet, an innocent enquiry from a boy at the hospital sets in motion a series of events that prompt her to reexamine her attitude towards life.

Radhika, by her own confession, has not even looked at a picture of Raen for years. But, she has always kept his personal diary through the years. She hadn't read it, but the boy’s question prompts her to do so now.

The story then unfolds in the form of a personal journal. The plot takes many strange twists and turns, going into philosophy and the idea of rebirth. For Radhika, the answer to her questions about life and love are slowly revealed. And now, she has to make a decision about her future based on these revelations.

The book goes beyond chick-lit romance and explores deeper questions. The author attempts to answer some of those questions, while the rest are left to the readers’ interpretations. The interesting, complicated storyline and the well-crafted characters are the highlights of this love story.

    Average

I was too excited to read this book because of some nice reviews I saw on flipkart. But on the contrary the first half of the book is too disappointing. You simply get confused......it simply takes u in and out of a character's personal diary. At times you feel its just a translated version of some hindi novel. Too much use of of word like F***K pisses u off. At times u wonder that Is this the only word an eleventh student knows.....The author tried to be philosophical in most of the book.......

    Depends on you

It completely depends on you whether you like this book or not.As for me,i did not like it very much, but that's just me.This book is not for realistic and critical readers. It is a typical Indian-author-written book where the author just pukes out everything he knows of English grammar, without keeping the language lucid and simple.
Having said all that, emotional people who strongly believe in love will really like this book. The feelings expressed in the book is pretty real. This book even made...

    A thing beyond forever

There is a very thin but significant line between tragedy and melodrama where as good tragedy leads to catharsis a bad one leads to depression and leaves behind a sense of acute pain.I am sorry to say this book is more of a melodrama.Destiny seems to have played a very cruel game with the lovers but as a reader this game doesn't interest me,even Hardy was a pessimist and mocked destiny but his mockery was coated with realism which made his plot credible but this book reminds me of romantic Bo...

    Beautifully written

I read this, gifted it, twice, and cherished it, each time i went through. But each time my heart cringed for Ryan, bleed for Radhika, and awed at Leh. Each time.

    A book beyond excellent

The first 60% of the book was a little boring, but it was tantamount to starving before going for a lunch in a king's palace. The rest 40% was excellent far beyond my expectations.

For anyone who wants to read this book, I give only one suggestion. Wait patiently till the story line starts, and you are up for the greatest reading feast.

I love the way Novoneel ji writes. I have read his other book "That kiss in the rain" too. It was equally good.

I am in love with the Author !

I read the book a few years ago, but I still remember every emotion I went through, whilst reading this book.

It kept me glued to it till I finished it and even later. Raen and Radhika absolutely defined love for me.

How he came back, how she remembered his initials, how she felt him before breathing her last, and how she came back FOR HIM... PRICELESS !

I simply love Novoneel... True romantic you are, buddy !
