    About The Authors

    A Professor and the Dean at IIPM, Arindam Chaudhuri is an economist, author, and producer.

    He has written numerous books such as Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch, Discover the Diamond in You, and The Great Indian Dream: Restoring Pride To A Nation Betrayed.

    Known as India’s Management Guru, he is the Founder of Planman Consulting and launched Planman Motion Pictures in 2001. Professor Chaudhuri is well known for conducting lectures, workshops, and seminars on Comparative Management Techniques worldwide and has contributed tremendously to the field of management, specially management in India.

    Rajita Chaudhuri is a Professor and the Dean of the Centre for Enterprise Management, IIPM. She is the wife of distinguished economist and scholar Arindam Chaudhuri.

    An inspiration to women everywhere, Rajita Chaudhuri has co-authored the bestselling Thorns To Competition along with her husband and has been a regular columnist for renowned newspapers and magazines like The Times Of India, Hindustan Times, and India Today.

    Chaudhuri was awarded the Women Achiever Award for her invaluable contribution to the field of education and marketing management by the young Environmentalists Programme Trust and has been involved in various development programmes along with her husband and their organization, The Great Indian Dream Foundation.

    competition beating strategies

    I did not know much about this book but got to read it on the net. Really found the book interesting and helpful. This book has in it some excellent set of competition beating strategies and that too amazingly. The authors have done an incredible work and their six principles for beating competition is truly wonderful.

    Excellent book that has very well correlated with Gandhian Principles & the way he chose to market his iconic ideas.     Life to achieve success

    Thorns to competition is a book not for all but for all those into marketing. I personally do not belong to the field but just thought of giving it a look and really found it good to read.     I mean seriously how could I have been fooled. I should have got the lesson when my fried after preparing for medical for 3 years at Allen Coaching institute joined this IIPM. I thought may be this whole IIPM and Arindam are overrated but turns out the basic emotions which the general mass have of them are has hard truth as diamond.
