I'm so glad that I read "A Thousand Splendid Suns". I learned about so many things about Afghanistan I wasn't aware of like Soviate invasion, mujahideen, taliban & then cleanup by America.

There is heartache, joy, tenderness, pain, regret, sacrifice,..so much enfolded into this masterpiece and told with such depth you can almost feel the oppression that the women lived through.

I genuinely can't describe how much I love this book, I have heard so many reviews of this book but never thought this could be that much true . and hosseini's story telling technique is mesmerizing. you just can't resist yourself from reading it and there is an unexpected sense of thrill you will get to see . loved it

I got the book soon as promised, I was delighted by the quality of the book. Now let me talk about the book. When you listen to the rhythm and harmony of threads of thoughts from a blessed author your mind soothes. I loved the way Khaled Hosseini exclaimed his emotions.
