Amazing and well documented book

Thapar once again exercises his intellect as the go-to tiger expert in India. A very well put together book that captures the journey of tigers from various perspectives in ancient and modern India like a timeline. This is like THE Tiger encyclopedia!

magnum opus

I brought this great book from www.flipkart.com sometime back. Valmik thapar has edited this book in a wonderful manner, really a must read for all people who like mammels. Really a magnum opus, you can see the article written by the great JIM Corbett too in this. In one article the picture is not matching with the content, it has to be changed in the next edition otherwise a must buy. CONGRATS to Valmik Thapar.

A must buy...

Hello Everyone, I work as a Naturalist and I love reading books (Nature and Wildlife). I have grown up seeing documentaries by Valmik Thapar and reading books by Dr.Ullas Karanth. My friend gifted this book to me on my birthday, and if you are a nature and wildlife enthusiast, you must read this.

This book has a lot of little stories about tigers which will fascinate you and make you fall in love with this striped beauty.
