Bickram Ghosh is one of the most prolific and versatile artists of our times. He dons a number of hats and is astonishingly brilliant in each avatar. This hugely popular classical artist, new-age fusion artist, music director and composer proves through this collection that his core activity as a Tabla artist is an area where his versatility and brilliance makes him one of the greatest in this arena.
Through the accompaniments showcased here Bickram proves his incredible range of expression as a Tabla artist where, depending on the mood of the Raga, the Taal, the style and the instrument of the Artist he accompanies, he changes his entire approach (often borrowing from gharanas of Tabla playing other than his own (i.e Farukhabad).
It is because of this adaptability in him that he quickly rose to becoming one of the most popular Tabla artists, favored by almost every leading instrumentalist in the country.
