Works perfectly after giving it full enchilada

The watch I received was Manufactured in July 2013. Putting on first charge, the watch was taking much longer than what was said in the manual. Also it was discharging much sooner that it should have. According to the manual description, if the watch was not charged at all for over a year, the battery needs a replacement. I requested a replacement mentioning I need a piece that was manufactured within one year.
