Good book highlighting social causes

I Got this from Santosh for a review and I will try to be Honest for the same.

The book has lots of stories (Incidents) which showcase a social cause each. Some of the topics are very touchy and people shy away from them.

Th stories are very simple and just help in explaining the cause. I like the smal titbits and references at the end to each story.
I think the stories could be little better and narrated little more nicely.
I skimmed through few of them just to reach the end.

I give the ...

Book with beautiful message

A book that took me rides of emotions that brought smile, laugh and tears. A heart touches tales of 11 different themes in one single book is a welcome change. Three chapters brought constant smile that dealt with begging, groom kidnapping and prostitution. A delightful read!

Tales told uniquely

Story telling is an art and this book definitely does it. Telling one story is easier but telling 11 different social stories is never easier. A mixed reaction is generally expected but it more than the benchmark and hence appreciate the effort.

I personal liked more than half stories that could somehow relate to my existence. However others might not relate directly but they are fun to read because of the format and representation of them.

Such more books should come into book shelf of r...

Book that Titled it!

The book has titled various untitled issues and appreciate the author whose earlier work were also promising note. The book has 11 topics that often seen as taboo or that would remain under four walls that are narrated with interesting note. The little note towards end of each chapter is to be appreciate to make the story unique. I personal liked first two chapters that had various view of a normal girl goes through in many houses. The final chapter made me to think about the situation of peo...

A Book for Social Awareness!

Santosh, an author dedicated to bringing into awareness the social crimes and injustice in India, has teamed with Kundan Srivastava & Raghunath Babu Are in Title is Untitled. The authors have come up with 11 short fictions in the book that highlight how women in India become victims of rape and forced marriages. The stories also speak of how some women unlawfully misuse women-centric laws like dowry laws in their favour. Yet, other stories, on a lighter side, underline how shallow Indian educ...

wanders aimlessly

i am happy that i read his other work,” Black, white and Grey” before reading this one because had i picked up this book before, my impression of author’s skills would have been completely different.

While Black grey and white was impressive, this book was highly disappointing and failed to ignite the spark done by the previous book. It makes me wonder what happened in this book when clearly the author could compile a good piece of fiction on a social cause as quoted an example by his previo...
