Tiya: A Parrot’s Journey Home by Samarpan deals with the adventures Tiya embarks on when he leaves his banyan tree home and flies into a strange and dark place only to rediscover himself.

    Summary Of The Book

Tiya: A Parrot’s Journey Home by Samarpan is about a chirpy and bubbly parrot called Tiya. He is suddenly faced with the urge to leave his old banyan tree home. When he does so, he is thrown into the adventure of his lifetime.

He flies across strange and distant lands and comes across the most unfamiliar and extraordinary creatures he had ever seen. The author also shows how he understands and learns more about himself, and explores his weaknesses and strengths.

Tiya goes through various phases in his adventure where he is able to gain real perspective about what is important in his life and what is not. The author showcases how the character is able to develop mentally into a more mature being. This work not only works as an adventure tale but also a moral fable for children and adults.

Tiya realizes the vastness of the world and the importance of every creature in it. The end-moral of this story will appeal to readers of all ages. Tiya transitions through this journey from his limited point of view of the world into a free spirit who rediscovers the meaning of life.

Tiya: A Parrot’s Journey Home embodies certain tenets and teachings as provided by Yogic and Vedantic philosophies. However, there is an absence of preaching and the narrative is simple and fluid in capturing the story of a parrot and his life-altering adventure.

    A short story with a long-term effect!!!

Theme of the story is the journey of a parrot TIYA, facing different situations and circumstances and overcoming it... Really!! at the first look will not imagine what the story ca be.. bt as you start reading, u will realize that there are a lot of things from the first page itself... I recommend this book to all those searching for themselves as someone said that "You are more than what you are now and you can achieve more than what you are achieving now...!!!!!!"

    Simple, funny, makes u think.

It's a great journey done by the parrot. It leaves from the place, it know's to an unknown place. In each and every place, it get new experiences. This book just reflects the verse from Vedanta. The picture in the front cover, gives the idea about the theme of the story.
