A must read for every literature lover -- Wonderful book

A fantastic piece of literature. The story is about two children, Jem & his sister Scout and their lawyer father Atticus. It is about childhood innocence and hypocrisy and false values of the grown ups. The story is narrated from Scout's perspective. It weaves magic throughout story. It makes you think. It has left deep imprint on my psyche. Atticus, the lawyer father, is wonderful and his advice to children and his discourse with Mr Tate in the end is really courageous and adorable. It'll de...

Love it!!!

Classics. Both the movie and the book. Once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. Everyone should read this book once in their lifetime. This edition is nice. I really like the cover too.I am one of those who like to judge the print, if not the book, by the cover.

A Classic Piece

I can't begin to describe the quality of this book. It paints a very clear picture of segregation in 19th century America using a child as the narrator. And it works like a charm. One of the best books I've read in recent times.

A True Classic

Everyone needs to read it to know why it is still the best of the coming of age novels.Watch the movie too. A multiple academy award winner in its own right.
Reading this novel will take you straight to your childhood days filled with grumpt neighbours, inquistive minds and total innnocence.
The fact that Harper Lee wrote only one novel which is still much adulated even 60 years after and made her win the presidential Medal is another fact to make u read this one.
A Total Delight

Best book ever.

Without a morsel of doubt, the best book I have ever read. It'll make you laugh and cry in equal measure. So do walk a few steps in Scout's shoes (as Atticus would say). It truly is a rewarding journey, and may well change the way you look at life, and people.

P.S - This edition in itself is pretty nice, with a really classy cover, and good paper quality.

Awesome read

I had seen the movie long ago(Gregory Peck as Atticus) but the book is much much better than the movie.

Though its set in 1930s the author very meticulously and beautifully describes the growing up years. While reading this book, I somehow took one down memory lane sort of reliving childhood.

Awesome!!

Flipkart was very prompt in delivering the book in a day's time.
