May 31: Anti-Tobacco Day ... cancer is Smoking free! Anti-Tobacco Day Today's global desire is to create a cancer-free world. Recognizing this 33 years ago, the World Health Organization declared Anti-Tobacco Day in 1987 to reduce cancer deaths and control tobacco use. To this end, the World Health Organization creates a new text every year to raise awareness. The motto for 2020 is, ‘Let’s protect young people from smoking; Let’s stop the use of tobacco and nicotine ’.
