Value for money

I bought this product on EMI from flipkart. as it was at bit less from 4000 i had to go for in a day delivery for which Kudos to flipkart as they lived upto expectations.

Now about the Hard Disk
Pros:-
1) Comes with excellent packing so scratchless :D
2) Transfer speed is good even from 2.5" port. easily touches 35 to 40Mb per second, haven't tested it on 3.0" but as mentioned on box it does support for 3.0
3) very small in size so convienient to carry. i was using Transcend before which was...

A WORD OF ADVICE ABOUT THIS GREAT PRODUCT

i have used this product for about two months now.
this is really great hard drive,feels good in hand.
the best part of this hard drive is the POGOPLUG software with a lifetime license which gives meaning to the name of the hard drive canvio "connect" which let's u to connect to your hard drive from any corner of the world if it is connected to up pc at home and the pc is connected to internet.you can stream music,videos,movies and any other files on the hard drive or on the pc.

Good product, but works only in some usb 2.0 ports

I received the product on time with brilliant packing, hats off to flipkart for their consistent good service.
The product is designed to work with both usb 3.0 as well as usb 2.0 ports, but i noticed it doesnt work in some usb 2.0 ports. I searched on the internet about this and many reviews state the same.The HD works on my laptop but doesnt seem to connect to my PC.I even tried using an extension cable but with no success.
If u are using a usb 3.0 port on your device, then it's a good choi...

Slim and light weight
Transfer speed is not the best but comparable to other wd HDDs available
Glossy finish
Backup feature is there like other advanced HDDs.

Nice Product

Packaging and delivery was excellent as always with Flipkart. The product is very good and more so for its price. 5 gbps speed is a dream but I assume no HDD provides that speed. I use Windows 8.1 with 16 gb ram/ 2.4 GHz and usb 3.0. Have transferred about 500 gb of media files at an average speed of 80 mbps or so, although it crossed 100 mbps for a short time. Very small in size and portable (good thing). I am quite happy and satisfied with the product. Will consider giving it 5* after using...

Worth every penny

i am writing this review after 2 years of usage. i purchased this 1TB harddisk at 3600bucks after comparing with companies offering same 1TB with little high price. But believe me it is a masterpiece in quality and speed. i got no issues whtsoevr till now and i love the sleek design n its light weight.i would recommend it at such price with eyes closed for its superior quality and design with its speed.

An awesome Product at an awesome price!

I was looking for a hardrive which was compatible with both windows and Mac without reformatting and it does that perfectly. I used this to transfer all my files from my old windows vista laptop to my new Mac and it worked perfectly. At first I just made a partition( I didn't divide it into 2 but just made a accesible space using disk utility on my Mac ). It is fast,small in size, also has a sturdy enclosure. Also checkout the Saco shock proof case which I just got for Rs 200 for this hardrive

excellent product!!!

first of all, got my product in time, so kudos to flipkart for providing an excellent service. Its an excellent product. lightweight, and works just fine with both usb 2.0 and 3.0. Only thing is that body is glossy and prone to fingerprints and cable is a bit short. nevertheless a good buy!!!

Can go with this product if compared with transcend. Good looking than ADATA and similar companies. Stylish to carry also.
