It's been a year since I got this product and it still works very well.
It is fairly good and gets the job done, no complaints.

This disk is not a beauty. But the data transfer speed is really good. The small size makes it easy to carry. I have been using it for just one month. Although its too early to write a review, its working wonderfully well now.

It is a fairly good product with good/read write speeds. The build is solid if utilitarian. As is usual with these kind of drives, the USB cable supplied with the drive is very short in length.

Cons:
The drive has trouble connecting with PCs/Laptops sometimes, even though USB3 port was used.

Overall, a solid product with some minor niggles.

It has got high speed USB 3.0 connectivity and works well with it. I haven't tested it with USB 2.0. Also, we don't get complete 500GB memory. We get around 460GB. But still nice. Worth buying it. Go with it!

Got this for my friend who loves to watch movies.Hence would require lot of storage for the 700mb movies.

USB 3.0 is the next big thing for storage devices,both pen drives and external hard drives with superfast transfer speeds depending on your system configuration and the hard drive speeds as well.

I am able to transfer files as large as 5gb in a matter of 60secs through the USB 3.0 ports.Haven't tested it on the USB 2 ports so cant say much about transfer speeds there.

This HDD was my second one, so I thought to buy a cheap one, so I ended with this, I am using it for like 2 months now and it results in good product, but if you look at design it looks a it dull
