Product is not new, but works well.. It's been 2 months since I installed it in my laptop and has been working well. Laptop store quoted 5000 Rs for the repair, I did it myself for 1700! : )

The HDD is doing fine. I think its a good deal for this price tag. Works well with my SONY VAIO E series. I strongly recommend for those who are looking for a budget oriented HDD......................................................................

Coming to HDD...this is a really nice HDD..my old Fujitsu HDD died in my 6yr old lappy so went for this..to my observation this is faster than the old one...earlier it used to take more than 2 minutes to boot and now it's hardly a minute...that's really a very good performance also it comes with 2 yr warranty from Toshiba...better than samsung which generally come with only 1yr..

Never buy such a wrost hard disk.you can't use your single penny if you bought it.after installation when i switched on my laptop it make click sound
