Description
A new CD audio edition of Agatha Christie's thriller, featuring Superintendent Battle. What is the connection between a failed suicide attempt, a wrongful accusation of theft against a schoolgirl, and the romantic life of a famous tennis player? To the casual observer, apparently nothing. But when a houseparty gathers at Gull's Point, the seaside home of an elderly widow, earlier events come to a dramatic head. It's all part of a carefully paid plan - for murder...

Must be in your wish list

I bought this book a few weeks ago. I liked the book. In the sense, a person who is interested in crime stories would surely love this book.
If you are a fan of Agatha Christie, then there should be no hesitation in having this book in your wish list right now.
If you have already read more crime novels and if you possess sufficient intelligence then you can guess the mystery before it gets revealed by the author. But most of us read expecting a miraculous change in the story. The same happ...

Awesome

Agatha Christie does it again!
A master story teller, this book is just over 220 pages, but the amount of details to stitch the story together is mind blowing!
Instead of Hercule Poirot, we have Supritendent Battle here, who isn't as meticulous or over the top as Poirot is, but great at his job nonetheless.
I will 100% recommend this book for mystery lovers! It gripped me right from the beginning and I was amazed when it ended.

Highly Recommended!!

Again, one of those kind of books where the author directs, misguides, toys, plays with the readers' thoughts and ultimately thrills them with the climax.

This book doesn't end when the readers think it has. The climax starts at that point of time and thoroughly throws the readers off-guard. Though at times, the plot crawls and is a little dragging.

Battle is just awesome!! Christie is just beyond comparison!!!

Highly Recommended!!

A Good Book

This is an interesting read from Christie. It doesn't include big name character like Marple or Poirot - which makes it easy to concentrate on story rather than wonder - what our hero is thinking. Story is good - though it takes time to build up. And at the end you realise how even small incidents matter. Enjoyable read.

Good Enough!

This was my first Agatha Christie book and I liked it. The plot is great and the building-up of the plot is really artistic, suspense stays till the very end though clues are scattered throughout the story but impossible to get them beforehand, the author leaves you laughing at yourself thinking over them once you finish it. Strongly recommended for the young readers who have just started reading mystery thrillers or detective stories. Adult bookworms may fail to delight themselves to extreme...
