TOYTAL This new set acts as the greatest hits of the Sword and Shield block of cards and lives up to the hype! It releases many normal reprints of popular cards, like Duraludon VMAX from Evolving Skies, which allows players and collectors to fill in holes for their collection. It also releases new art for many successful cards, like Mew V from Fusion Strike, in the main set which is a welcomed addition for card acquisition. Additionally, there are some of the best artwork comes from the special 70-card subset, the Galarian Gallery, that feature reprints of popular cards throughout the Sword and Shield era, like Leafeon VSTAR, Deoxys VMAX, and Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR! If you are strictly looking at this set from a competitive standpoint, there are a handful of new cards and some look like they might actually change the course of our Standard metagame. Zamazenta looks like it will naturally fit into Lost Zone Box decks and its Retaliate attack can swing hard for 220 damage - that's enough to OHKO an opposing V. Similarly, Sky Seal Stone packs a punch for Basic V trying to OHKO a VSTAR / VMAX and it allows you to draw an extra Prize Card if you score a Knock Out! The most hyped card of them all is Radiant Eternatus which allows you to summon up to two VMAX from your deck into play as early as turn one! While there are many VMAX to choose from, many players are looking at the often underplayed Orbeetle VMAX from Vivid Voltage as a way to spread damage counters everywhere! I’m sure we will see plenty of action at the top tables of competitions worldwide! With a great mix of playable and collectable cards, this set offers a little bit of everything for everyone -
