I just bought the product and had some trouble setting up with bsnl as it is my first time using a wireless router.
If you are using bsnl broadband then these are the setting u have to configure

connection type-ppoe
vpi-0
vci-35
encapsulation type-ppoe llc

if you dont know about ur username and password provide by your isp then call "1957" and tell your landline number to the customer care executive and ask him for the same.

This is for all the BSNL users:
1. Call 1957 and ask for your User name and password.
(its usually the name of the person in which ur bsnl connection exists)
2. Connect your LAN cable, DSL cable and the Power cable to the router.
3. Type 192.168.1.1 in any of your web browser.
4. Type in ur user name as "admin" and password as "admin" or "pass"

this is very good basic router which can be used good with BSNL Broadband and it is modem cum router so we don`t need extra modem with this.
its wifi range is good and my small house is well covered with this.

Bought this product over an year back, used it for almost 7 months and it was a nice experience.

Stopped using it as I was given with a free D-link modem along with my Airtel connection. Comparing with the D-link (DSL-2730U), I feel this modem had a better WiFi range, but D link has an option to connect 4 devices on ethernet which can be of help in sometimes.

I always suggest people to buy TP Link modem's or routers because of their low price and good performance. This particular modem lives up to the reputation of TP LINK product and connecting to your internet is hassle free.
