This card is a very good value for money, worked straight out of box on Ubuntu as this is based on a very popular Athreos chip. This card only operates on 2.4 GhZ 11n.
The throughput of this card is comparable to USB wifi adapters, I expected a little better through put considering dual external antennas.
Update 23rd Feb: Installed this card on a Windows 8.1 system, the card worked right out of box and did not require any additional driver installation. Later upgraded to Window 10 preview, ...

Nice one; worked with WIN10, DG41RQ mother board, with windows 10 os it will support very minimal features; In my case I am using only for internet access through WiFi, so its doing great job for me.

I have built a desktop, with this card, and literally made is at flexible as laptop. Keep anywhere.
My desktop/server is for R&D purpose (HyperV host with 5 VMs), and I usually access it via RDP. VMs dont require speedy access, and 300Mbps from this card, is more than enough for my laptop to open VM consoles. Flexibility is provides is tremendous!

4 Stars, as there are no Windows server (W2k12 R2) drivers with the CD. TPLink connection utility shows errors of missing dll. I am sure this does...

It gets job done. I didn't seen any improvement in wifi signal over what i was getting with my laptop considering this one has antennas it was bit disappointing. But connection is steady. Works on windows 8.1 pro 64 bit version. Decent value for money.

Works fine on windows 7 & 8..........All you need is to install right drivers (In windows 8, its better to plug in this device before installing the Operating System so that the default driver gets installed)
WiFi reception is very fine and also works fine on WLAN............

This device makes win 8 to freez a lot. Drivers also not compatible with win 8. I have updated driver with compatible mode and inf update So far no problem. Seem good.
Wifi range is good can receive signal through 3 walls with 25cm thick. Data transfer 12MB/s with my 150n Lap wifi. Not tested with 300n Devices.

Wanted a wireless card with good range as I am using my Desktop with the TV to watch movies in big Screen Youtube.
After lot of research bought this one and its really good.
Range is really great, Even my Friend who lives next door gets 2 bars of signal which is pretty impressive.
I have connected as much as 6 Devices at a time and all works great.
Easy to transfer files between the devices.
So all in all no complaints at all.

I had to install driver for windows 7 Ult, but after install everything went sweet. No issues with performance, but it's been only a day of use, long term operations may or may not reveal issues. But I think it is better than USB wifi adapters because they stand a good risk of getting burnt out. A network card is far more robust and safe for long term, IMO.

Works with Windows 10 out of the box. No issues experienced. Many have said earlier that it doesn't work with windows 10, but trust me it definitely works with Windows 10. I have few networking products from TP Link brand and all of them have been satisfactory. Love TP Link products. Overall a great Wi-fi LAN Card.

After use of 4 months i'm really satisfied with that product ...!!! stable and fast good for online gaming..!!
