I had one WD 1TB HD which was almost full and I was in need of another HD. Since I already had WD HD I decided that this time I will buy some other brand. I bought this hdd and its been quite a while now so thought of reviewing it now. This is the best one in its range and above all its transcend one of the reliable brand.
Flipkart's delivery is obviously outstanding. The only thing that bothers me is, after buying so many products we dont get any vouchers or points to redeem unlike other e-commerce website.

I was lucky to purchase this hard disk at Rs 3704 price point from WS Retail. Now price shoots up it seems. This is USB 3.0 Hard drive which works perfectly with USB 3.0 supported laptops. Very nice speed and build quality is great from Transcend. As per delivery WS Retails always meets up expectation with good packaging.

I agree this doesn't look that great, as it is not sleek and it doesn't have a glazed plastic finish either, but it is well protected and at the end of the day, it is the protection of your valuable data that you will be most concerned about, isn't it? Plus, it comes at a great price (I bought it at a special discount price of Rs. 3704 only), so I would definitely recommend this product.

I've been using the same brand product(USB 2.0, 250GB) since 2008 onwards and the quality is excellent. The rubber sleeve protection is really an add on against accidental damage. Now with USB 3.0, the speed is awesome. I've compared the speed with Seagate and WD. It's in par with them. Competetive price. Well packed and lightning fast delivery-Flipkart does usually.
