I bought this thinking it will pair nicely with my existing DDR2-667 (512MB X 2). But turned out this has an underlying chipset of DDR2-800. So, while I could upgrade from 1GB to 2GB, I couldn't go to 2.5GB as originally planned. Still, the product itself works very well, and for the low price, it was pleasantly in a nice retail pack.

I works perfectly well with my old and trusted Dell Inspiron 6400. My laptop came with 512x2 GB ram . I got one Transcend DDR2-667 2GB RAM . Now i have 2.5 GB ram and I works great.!!!!!... Using for last 2 months and its seems perfect..

The product delivered well before, its working fine and my old laptop has find new life after this up gradation, I am now using Win 10 operating system. No worries, go for it.

I have ordered it for lenovo G430 model, installed it myself and using from last 6 months haven't seen any problem.

To choose a RAM,download CPU-Z, install and run it and it will give u detailed information check memory and SPD section and try to match how much you can match.
the more you will match the better you will get.

For me it's working superb because everything got matched with previously installed ram.
