Having 4x4GB RAM is better than a single 16GB RAM. Again a 16GB chip will cost around 5.5K-6K. Again, the performance will be lowered if a single chip is used. I don't need this amount of RAM but it's great to purchase if your motherboard supports the same. You can create huge size RAM DRIVE on your system.
