I bought a piece of this ram to combine it with a 2 gb samsung ram installed in my HP dv6-3057tx to get a total of 6gb ram in my configuration. It worked without a hitch and the there was an immediate noticeable improvement in performance. I would recommend this ram to anyone looking to replace or increase ram in his laptop.

I would also like to add that I ran extensive memtest86+ tests for hours and as expected due to great quality, there were 0 errors.

earlier I had 2 gb ram with a core 2 duo processor.It was ok for light activities like surfing the net but was sluggish when prompted for games or multitasking. with this upgrade(now 6GB)my laptop can work wonders.. i can even play Assassins's creed brotherhood with some reduced graphics but lag free..i recommend this product to everyone who is performance hungry
If you are a bit of a pro you may even overclock this ram (as I did) and extract even more from it.

windows RAM rating increased to 6.6 while the upgrade was done from 3gb to 6gb adding this 4gb RAM, in the previous 1gb slot.

Though the items were delivered quickly, but using these memory module created a lot of problems for me. I used trascend DDR3 4GB in my HP dv6 3250T model and soom my laptop started crashing frequently (BSOD). I recommend only to purchase this after thorough consulting.

I added this module to my existing 4GB HCL machine, and it works perfectly.Now it runs 8 gigs, awesome speed I should say. I bought it for Rs.1250 at Chennai. Now the Windows Experience Index has increased from 3.4 to 4.9, limited by graphics.
