I bought it to replace the HDD of my 4 year old notebook. 512 GB was required to image map the existing 500 GB drive. Was able to do easily.
The performance boost this SSD drive gave to the notebook needs to be experienced to be believed.
This undoubtedly is One of the best upgrades I bough for my notebook.
