    Not for me

I loved the summary on flipkart and pre-ordered it. What have I cooked from it? Only the beetorrot raita. Once. The problem is, it is for the gourmet cook. If you are willing to go to the listed shops in the listed markets (well, the book does list them, that much has to be said) and then prepare whatever dish it is! Then maybe you should go and buy it. If you want to rustle up something classy pronto, or if you're just a beginner, there's 90 percent chance you wouldn't have stocked up on the...

    Great collection of recipes

I ordered this book for a friend for her birthday but it looked so tempted that I decided to keep it for myself! Ritu's recipes and commentary was great to read. I'm no Julia Child but her stuff is easy to make and the ingredients are easy to source - which for me, ends up being the biggest problem with most cookbooks. I haven't been to her restaurant in New Delhi but hope to on one of my trips. If her book is anything to go by, I'm sure my dining experience will also be A . Looking forward ...

    Must Read-Must Eat-Must Buy!

I have been a fan of Ritu Dalmia since the opening of DIVA over 10 years ago. Since then, I have visited each of her restaurants in Delhi and read both her books 'Italian Khaana' and now 'Travelling Diva: Recipes from Around the World'. Easy to read, highly entertaining and super helpful to plan a nice dinner party or even a delicious meal for yourself. Most of the ingredients are easily available at INA Market. With easy directions, Ritu Dalmias style of writing and personal notes and storie...

a must buy!!!! dont miss it

Am a complete foodie and have tried various cuisines all over the world. This book is truly a treat for any food lover. The recipes are extremely simple yet the outcome.....you will keep asking for more . Ritu's personal notes/experiences on each recipe is quite refreshing compared to the typical methodical cook book!!
Its almost like having your own personal cooking class. My husband and i loved it so much that a bottle of wine has been substituted by signed copies of the book (availa...

    Not so great afterall

I am an ardent cook, lets say food is my passion, so there are quite a few cookbooks I have collected & read.
In one of my trips to a bookstore, I picked up the book for the recipes looked good, they were written very simply, with options to replace ingredients given & there was enough variety in the kinds of foods. But when I got down to use the recipes, I must say they havent been tried by the author, coz the end result even after following the recipes strictly aint half as good as you wou...

Super simple and as always...yummy recipes!

It's a fun recipe book, with a great collection of recipes that are so simple to make, delicious and make yet an impact! I loved the pictures and personal notes, which bring a smile to your face:)) The best part is that the recipes are from around the world, but all the ingredients are available locally. Great job! Waiting for the next release.
