At least 25% to 30% answers are wrong overall. Unless and until you have thoroughly built up your concepts (from standard textbooks), DO NOT trust the answers given in this book.

The only positive side is - it has a very huge set of questions for practice, which was very helpful for me during my preparations.

In my view, this is the best book available in the market. The questions are nice and answers are accurate. Coverage of paper III new pattern is very useful. Latest previous year papers from 2009 to 2012 are given with answers which help a lot.

Quality of book is average.
Book is kinda heavy but the binding takes it well even though it could be better and hard. Content wise the book is good for revisions and recalls.
Questions are good enough to test your knowledge, but the book could have more questions.
Information is presented in a very concise and readable manner.
The book tries to cover most topics.
Recommend for computer science student who prepares for MCQ exams.

I was not very much satisfied to buy and read this book. Study material is fine and objective questions nice with correct answers. Paper III coverage is of immense help. Must buy... as per my opinion..

May be the previous editions had some mistakes, but 2015 is a perfect one. The theory is covered in perfect style and content is too useful to attempt the MCQs. I have read 5 chapters and am fully satisfied with the same. THe previous years papers are of great help.

Seems Chandrashekar has not read the book. In my view if you have to read standard book for each topic, you will never pass in UGC net bcoz you will not have fair idea of the exam.
^This book is perfect concise, abridged version of all topics which appear in Net exam. The collections of questions is so nice and to add answers are 99% correct. What else is reqd? Previous years papers. These are also added at the end of the book with answers.

In my view, this is the most useful and excellent book. Theory is good & questions of each chapter are sufficent for practice. I like paper iii coverage which is given in Detail. Previous year papers are too usefull. MuST BUY for suCCess.

If you are a serious NET student, this book is just fine. Not too elaborate but gives a hint of kind of questions asked in exams. Theory is simple and lucid.
Paper III coverage is perfect in 2013 edition. previous years 3-4 years solved papers are of good help.
