Simply awesome
This idli steamer is wonderful. It has good plastic body and also it is Microwave safe which makes it even more perfect. Just put water in it, apply oil to idli casing, pour the Doug and let the magic begin.

I used the readymade idli/dosa batter from ID.
8 small idlis get done in just 4 minutes in microwave (23 L).
The spoon provided gives the right amount of batter quantity to be filled. No need to add oil or cloth. You can put the batter directly.
Another basket is also provided which can be used for steaming vegetables or making stuff like momos.
